Raphael and Aretha Wright

Raphael and Aretha, a testament to the power of love and commitment, have been married for 32 years. They are proud parents of four children and two grandchildren. Both were born and raised in Detroit, MI, and they met at Cooley High School in the 10th grade. Their journey, from high school friends to prom dates, culminated in a beautiful marriage in 1992 in Atlanta, GA.

Raphael attended Clark Atlanta University as a double major in Theology and Computer Science. Aretha attended Morris Brown College as a double major in Architecture and Computer Science.  Raphael and Aretha own Wright Way Cleaning, LLC, a premier facilities management company servicing more than 13 Southeast and midwestern States.  Aretha is the Administrative Director of The Association for Information Systems, a premier professional association for individuals and organizations who lead the research, teaching, practice, and study of information systems worldwide.

The couple is passionate about marriage and enjoys helping couples improve their communication and understanding of each other. With over 18 years of ministering and teaching married and engaged couples, the Wrights have been members of World Changers Church International for 30 years and were part of the Marriage Ministry for 18 years. They have also ventured into the realm of podcasting with the premiere of their podcast "The Miseducation of Marriage," which aims to teach couples the principles of communication, understanding, and living a grace-based marriage.

Raphael and Aretha enjoy spending time with their family and friends and traveling the globe as often as possible.
